Primarily, a music teacher’s task lies in the idea of effective and creative communication. Thus, credibility and reliability have always been an issue to academic institutions, their teaching and non-teaching personnel and even the student body.

Music teachers simultaneously motivate, inspire, and support their students through innovative music teachers resources. Whether these resources and tips are from the experiences of other teaching individuals, educators, academes or from the internet, what important is you are able to meet your goals and stay committed to your purpose.

When you make use of effective music teachers resources and tips, you are more likely to gain the interests of your students – encouraging them to love music more. As you become good influences and examples to them, they not just tend to love music as one of their subjects but they also have come to love you as their mentors and icons.

I have here a list of different feedbacks, compliments and even suggestions of the students when a group of music educators have rendered effective music teaching strategies and have executed creative activities.

• The students are able to cultivate their interest in music and realize their potentials through unique and creative activities regarding their music class and its programs.
• Such music teachers resources allow them to learn about other aspects of music which are not covered in a specific course outline, syllabus or private music lessons.
• Music teachers are able to encourage and give them such opportunity and exposure that they truly need to create and perform music creatively and independently yet effectively and promptly.
• Students are able to learn music as well as the significance of academic freedom and independence. Thus, cooperative learning has played a vital role in this manner since they are tasked to work collaboratively with their co-students and meet a common set of objectives.
• Creative activities, which seem unusual and innovative, have brought up fun and excitement among students – making them more interested, hooked and eager to learn new things and eventually apply them in real life.
• The enhanced program for music teaching has been remarked by the students as a way to boost self-confidence, establish camaraderie among classmates, and experience the fun of learning music – all at the same time.
• Such exposure to music technology and other relevant innovations have showcased more talents and have brought out the best in most of the students.

It really pays to regenerate more teaching resources and strategies that are more appealing to the kind of students we have in today’s generation. Maximizing resources and efforts, music teachers would then realize that music education could be the most rewarding experience.

Popular wedding songs are precisely called as such because many people seem to find meaning in their lyrics. There is absolutely nothing wrong with jumping into the bandwagon and having the same popular wedding song as a thousand other couples. There are however some nice tips to remember when you choose your popular wedding song.

Go a Few Years Back

Yes, it is all right to have the same popular wedding song as everyone else but you don’t want to have the same song playing from the reception room beside yours. You can pick a hit popular wedding song from a few weeks back instead of one of the hits last week. This will lessen the possibility of you having a popular wedding song that is also the wedding song of everyone else who got married on the same day.

Ask the DJ or Band

If you have no idea which popular wedding song is perfect for you then ask your reception band or DJ to give you some suggestions. They are experts in the field of music and will offer suggestions based on the melody and lyrics quality of each song.

Have Activity Songs

It would be great to have a popular wedding song that is also meaningful to both of you. Maybe you would like to have the song that was playing when you first bumped into each other. Your theme song however, will only be good for the two of you probably on your first dance at the reception. You should consider having one popular wedding song for every wedding activity. Pick songs for the entrance of the bride, cocktail time, dinner time, cake cutting and parents’ dance

Include Tribute Songs

It would be a great idea to have a popular wedding song that was a hit a few decades ago. A particular song that was special to set of parents would be a wonderful way to show affection and gratitude. You can play your parents’ popular wedding songs when you each dance with them.

Have Variations to a Song

You may like a particular popular wedding song but you just can’t stand the same old beat. Have your band play the song in a different beat. You can slow dance to an originally fast song or you can have a disco dance with an originally slow song.

Check the Lyrics

It’s important to read song lyrics before you decide to have a popular wedding song. Some songs have great tunes but may send out such negative messages as desperation, mild sexual suggestions and separation. Some couples seem to think that there is nothing wrong with such popular song lyrics. Make sure however that you judge a song not just by the melody but by the lyrics too if you are the type who doesn’t appreciate such lines.

Check the Artist

Nobody’s perfect but you might be the picky type who wouldn’t like an artist who has radically different principles and beliefs from you. You might also consider checking a band’s status. Do you honestly want a song from a teeny bopper bubble gum band with members who probably never even had first loves yet?

Music teachers should learn how to deal with students of all ages; otherwise, they might not be as effective as they could be. Hence, they must give time to read some music teachers resources and tips that are readily available online.

Although there are many who specialize in teaching younger students, some still prefer to handle adult students for some reasons.

Generally speaking, adult students have vast experiences and knowledge about a variety of things and issues. These advantages provide a private music studio, a new horizon and window to the world outside. Also, these bring a more pleasurable atmosphere, not only to the class but to the music teachers as well. Exchanging insights and experiences related to the lessons that are certainly important to learning music can be a very good music teaching strategy.

Adult students may vary from one another. Some may just be beginners, while others may only want to increase their knowledge on their preferred instrument. On the other hand, there are some who may already have expertise in playing other musical instruments.

Just like young students, adults can be fast learners. However, there are some of them who may need much time and effort before they can adopt and understand. Thus, most music teaching resources and tips advise that teachers must also learn how to listen to their adult students’ inquiries and suggestions. Further, music teachers must learn how to assess the skills of each of their students and devise the suitable lesson plans for them.

Indeed, adults usually have stronger motivation to learn. They are likewise more inclined to follow the outlined practice schedule. However, they are more articulate and vocal with their concerns, so music teachers should better prepare prompt response.

Just a piece of advice: do not try to compare their skills and learning capacity with other students because most adults have greater tendency to be anxious. Instead, try to cite their previous accomplishments and learn how to recognize, appreciate and acknowledge their good efforts. This technique can boost their eagerness to learn and somehow make them aware that you commend their achievements.

In addition, music teachers should give their students an active participation in choosing what type of music they prefer to learn and use in practicing. Practice pieces must be enjoyable and pleasing to their adult students. Or else, they may have lesser motivation to learn and rehearse.

Lessons, resources and tips in teaching music to children and adult students are basically similar. They only differ in the stages of learning: children are more into the developmental stage while adults are more into the integral aspect of learning.

Over recent decades, the role of video images has grown steadily. Advances in technologies underlying the capture, transfer, storage, and display of images have created situations where communicating using images has become economically feasible. More importantly, video images are in many situations an extremely efficient way of communicating as witnessed by the proverb “a picture is worth a 1000 words.”

Notwithstanding these technological advances, the current state of the art requires many compromises. Examples of these compromises are temporal resolution versus noise, spatial resolution versus image size, and luminance/color range versus gamut. These choices affect the video quality of the reproduced images. To make optimal choices, it is necessary to have knowledge about how particular choices affect the impression of the viewer. This is the central question of all video quality research.

Current video quality research can be divided into 2 approaches: experimental evaluation and modeling.

Experimental Evaluation
A group of human subjects is invited to judge the quality of video sequences under defined conditions. Several recommendations are found in ITU-R BT.500.10 “Methodology for Subjective Assessment of the quality of Television Pictures” and ITU-T P.9210 “Subjective Video Quality Assessment methods for Multimedia Applications.

The main subjective quality methods are Degradation Category Rating (DCR), Pair Comparison (PC) and Absolute Category Rating (ACR). The human subjects are shown 2 sequences (original and processed) and are asked to assess the overall quality of the processed sequence with respect to the original (reference) sequence. The test is divided into multiple sessions and each session should not last more than 30 minutes. For every session, several dummy sequences are added, which are used to train the human subjects and are not included in the final score. The subjects score the processed video sequence on a scale (usually 5 or 9) corresponding to their mental measure of the quality – this is termed Mean Observer Score (MOS).

Two serious drawbacks of this approach are:
* It is extremely time consuming, and tiresome for the participants.
* The obtained knowledge cannot be generalized because relationships between design choices and video quality are descriptive rather than based on understanding.

As a result, in a single series of experiments only a small fraction of the possible design decisions can be investigated. This makes the process even longer and more tedious.

Modeling
The second approach tries to address these drawbacks by means of developing models that describe the influences of several physical image characteristics on video quality, usually through a set of video attributes thought to determine video quality. When the influence of a set of design choices on physical video characteristics is known, then models can predict video quality. The models express video quality in terms of visible distortions, or artifacts introduced during the design process. Examples of typical distortions include flickering, blockiness, noisiness, or color shifts.

Two types of models exist, where the fundamental difference between them is how the impairment is calculated.

In the first type, physiologically or psychophysically models of early visual processing are used to calculate impairment from a difference between the video sequences. Many well known metrics exist, which compare the “original” to the “processed” output:
* PSNR – Peak Signal to Noise Ratio
* JND – Just noticeable differences
* SSIM – Structural SIMilarity
* VQM – Video Quality Metric
* MPQM – Moving Picture Quality Metric
* NVFM – Normalize Video Fidelity Metric

The two most important drawbacks of this approach are
* It is unclear what exactly the “original” version of a video is.
* These algorithms are measuring visible differences not video quality.

The second type of model tries to estimate visible distortions directly from the “processed” video; instead of comparing it to the “original”. In this type of model, visible distortions of a video, such as unsharpness or noisiness are predicted by estimating physical attributes of the video. The advantage of this approach is that the “original” video sequence is not needed. The uncertain translation from visible distortions to video quality is an important drawback to this approach.

Video Clarity Solution
Regardless of whether experimentation or modeling is chosen, certain features are common:
* Video must be presented in an “unaltered” state.
* Results must be tabulated and preserved.

Since processing video may take many forms: compression, video enhancements, and color space conversions to name a few, a system must be put in place to normalize the video information so that a comparison can be done. It must be remembered that the end consumer does not care if the original video was compressed with Windows Media, DviX, or MPEG-4. All that matters is whether the video left them with the desired impression.

To streamline the process, equipment for video quality testing needs to be defined, which can capture, play, and analyze multiple video sequences. Further, as new input/output interfaces are continuously under development, the test equipment should use an open-architecture approach to ease upgradeability.

Video Clarity defined the ClearView product line with these objectives in mind.
* Capture video sequences in as many formats as possible.
* Matt/Crop all video sequences to user-selectable resolution.
* Translate all video sequences to uncompressed Y’CbCr 4:2:2 or RGB 4:4:4.
* Support 8 and 10-bit data paths with upgradeability to future 12-bit modes.
* Store the video sequences as frames (fields) so that they can be played at any rate.
* Display the video sequences in real time in multiple viewing modes.
* Playback controls include play, shuttle, jog, pause, pan, and zoom.
* Apply objective metrics to the video sequences.
* Export pieces of video sequences to further analyze off-line.
* Use a standard operating system so that the operator can run 3rd party analysis applications.

By working in the uncompressed domain, any two video processing algorithms can be compared independent of compression or other processing.

To further simplify the work flow, any video sequence can be played; while capturing another video sequence, thus, combining the video server and capture device into one unit. By doing this, the original source is already inside the test equipment for easy comparison.

The original and processed video sequences can be displayed – side-by-side, mirrored, or seamless split – on a single display. This eliminates the need to calibrate two separate displays.

ClearView applies various objective metrics to the video sequences, generates graphs, and calculates an objective score. ClearView includes PSNR, Spatial Information and Temporal Information (as proposed in ITU-T P.9210). These metrics are the basis for more sophisticate metrics like VQM, JND, which are being analyzed by organizations like VQEG, VPQM, and SMPTE.

ClearView displays multiple video sequences, even if they are played at different rates (i.e. mobile phone video compared to TV) for the expert viewers; while recording the objective metric scores. While the MOS cannot be repeated, the objective metric can, easily and readily.

Benefits
* Repeatable tests, quantitative results, and a streamlined setup.
* Analyze 2 video sequences in real-time up to 1080P.
* Input virtually any file type or capture from any digital or analog source.
* Multiple viewing modes are presented on a single display – no need to calibrate 2 separate Television displays to compare video sequences.
* Integrated uncompressed, high definition Video Server and Capture Device.
* Ability to Play 2 fully uncompressed, HD Streams in Real-Time.
* Hybrid Solution with Integrated Objective Metrics and Subjective Viewing Modes.

Implementation
ClearView takes advantage of the high-reliability of today’s off-the-shelf, high-performance computer platforms. This ensures that products are made with state-of-the-art hardware, while at the same time avoiding the high cost of custom designs.

ClearView provides broadcasters, researchers, and compression developers with the unique ability to capture, play-out, and analyze video. Objective measurements are generated, graphed, and logged for repeatable tests.

<img src="http://thm-a03.yimg.com/image/48358cf22c91a348" width="250" height="180" alt=""the Reason One Writes Isn't the Fact He Wants to Say Something. He Writes Because He Has Something to Say" -">

A lot of people over the years have asked me “Why do you write?” I used to simply reply with “I write because it is just something I do… Why do I write? Well why do you breath?” Then one day, I got thinking. Why do I write? What sense of pleasure do I derive from it? I came up with a few reasons WHY I write and WHY everyone should at least attempt to write, even if the quality turns out to be not so good.

I have found that writing keeps me sane. Through tough times writing has been my rock. It has given me a medium to express myself. Writing is unique and different for everyone and people write in different ways. Some people write poems that rhyme, some write poems that don’t. Some write stories, some write simple sentences. Some people write music, others write songs. Some people write their feelings, and some people write about nothing in relevance at all. But still, we write.

Expressing yourself in any way is a good thing. The arts are very helpful for this. Through an art we can tell a story, we can SHOW people what we want to tell them. Writing is my art, It helps me express who I am. I find it hard to talk about my feelings face to face with someone but give me a pen and paper and I can turn my inner most feelings into words, transform them into something that they will understand. Through a pen I’ve got my voice.

The great thing about writing is that anyone can do it, regardless of culture, language, native tongue. We don’t even have to show what we write to anybody, but seeing something on paper can help to organise our thoughts.

When I was very young A wise person told me that if I was ever really mad at someone, before I act I should write it down. I should write how I feel and why I feel that way. Then once you’ve vented all your negitive thoughts onto paper you will feel much better. You find that you were irrationally mad or ticked off and there won’t be any tention because you didn’t march right over there and give that person a peice of your mind. You simply wrote down how you felt

This peice of advice has been helpful to me, because many times I have rushed to conclusions and in retrospect, I see that the fault was my own.

,.

All of famous quotes have come from someones free thoughts. Martin Luther-Kings “I have a dream”, William Shakespeares “All the worlds a stage” , Einstiens “Theory of reletivity” and even that cute quote whos author remain anonymous. All great things are born of someones free thought.

So, to answer the question, “Why do I write?” I write to be freed. I write to clear my mind. I write to have my say. I write to express myself. I write, because it makes me happy.

I think that everyone should try to give writing a go. It doesn’t have to be good, and it doesn’t have to rhyme, just write your feelings, express yourself. Let yourself go, free your inhibitions and you might surprise yourself with what you can come up with.

I’ll leave you now, with one of my favourite quotes:

Shaffer Chimere Smith, best known by his stage name, Ne-Yo, is an American R&B singer and songwriter. Ne-Yo was best known for co-authoring Mario’s 2004 number-one hit, Let Me Love You and then later shot to fame with the release of his own album, In My Own Words, which was released in 2006 and debuted at the top of The Billboard 200. Ne-Yo’s second single, So Sick, became his first number-one hit single.

Ne-Yo achieved much success as a songwriter, co-writing songs for several popular artists, including: Mary J. Blige, Marques Houston, Ruben Studdard, Christina Milian, Faith Evans, B2K, Tyrese, Jamie Foxx, and Rihanna. Upon a failed record deal with Columbia Records, Ne-Yo was introduced to L.A. Reid of Def Jam Records, who signed Ne-Yo on the spot.

In February 2006, Ne-Yo released his debut album In My Own Words to much success, thanks to hit singles Stay and So Sick, which would reach number-one status in both the US and the UK. Though he has experienced much success as an artist, Ne-Yo continues to co-write songs for other artists and is currently working on tracks with Mario, Fantasia, Britney Spears and Beyonce.

Ne-Yo’s name was given to him by a friend, who believed that the singer-songwriter could ‘see’ music similar to how The Matrix’s “Neo” character, played by Keanu Reeves, could see the Matrix. Neyo is of Afircan-American, Puerto Rican, and Chinese descent.

Karaoke can be quite funny when it comes to party activities; but if you are planning a party at your office, you have to be aware of some of the rules that are implied by the organization process. For instance, is highly important to choose the proper Karaoke cds that may be used without upsetting someone. Therefore, the best songs to be used are the ones that are promoting the good times and camaraderie; these types of songs can also be used in order to prevent the coworkers from getting involved in embarrassing activities. Several tips are to be considered in order to choose the appropriate songs that are to be used at a karaoke office party.

The first tip to be considered is the one that states the importance of choosing the perfect Karaoke song that may be played at every office party; you might try guessing what kind of Karaoke cds is likely to please your coworkers. You may try to presume that every person would like the so-called popular music, namely the one that it was available when they were teens. You have to be aware that the Karaoke cds that are coming from your coworkers’ twenties are likely to please them most. If you are daring enough, you may choose to ask your coworkers about their favorite tunes in order to provide the party with the best Karaoke song ever. If you are working is a quite large office, you may consider asking a small group of people. You can try pooling a group of 10 people in order to choose the necessary CDs without having to worry that you are wrong when it comes to your choice.

You may also choose to hire a karaoke DJ who can provide the party with the professional touch; this person is more likely to know more about every musical genre and he will also help you to figure out the most appropriate CDs for the office party. You will also have to make sure that you have considered all the people who are working in your office. No one should be left out because this situation is likely to become quite embarrassing. If you are aware that all your coworkers are listening to a particular genre or type of song, you have to add this song on the current karaoke list in order to provide your coworkers with the pleasure of singing the favorite song.

The karaoke DJ is to be interviewed in order to make sure that you have chosen the right person for the job; for instance, you can try bringing a list that contains all the genres you are interested in listening to. The right person must be able to choose the songs that are likely to fit your criteria when it comes to organizing an office party. You may also ask the DJ about the most popular songs that are to be encountered at other party. You may consider his opinion too in case that you need an extra choice when it comes to establishing the musical needs of your party. Every DJ should be able to provide you with some suggestions; you may even ash him to make a list with all the potential songs that can be played at your office party. This list may actually help you decide whether that particular person is the right one for your office party or not.

The so-called trouble songs should be weeded out; the Karaoke song must be a pleasant one that does not make people face embarrassing situations when singing. For instance, you may show the list to every coworker in order to make sure that no one is going to mind if some Karaoke cds are played during the party. Song idea may also spark in this case and the opportunity is to be seized in order to enhance the future atmosphere of the party. The songs that are made in raunchy languages should be left out of the list because people need to feel comfortable about their lyrics. These types of songs may actually look inappropriate for any office party.

You must not include demanding songs on your karaoke list; these songs are also to be left out because they are likely to urge for good singers and maybe this is not the case with your coworkers who can be quite unfamiliar with some difficult songs Therefore, you should avoid every Karaoke song that is likely to lead its singer to an embarrassing situation. For instance, if you will have alcohol at your party, you might consider this previous aspect too in order not to let people make a fool of them while drinking alcohol.

You also have to be aware that you must stay away from any duets; these duets can be quite challenging but few people are likely to handle this situation. Therefore, this aspect is to be avoided because having two people knowing the same song and its lyrics is highly improbable. A karaoke duet is likely to be quite demanding too and people could fail when it comes to managing this situation in the appropriate manner.

I’ll Always Be Your Mother is a new mother and son wedding song that I wrote for my son’s wedding in 2006.

When my son told me he was getting married, I knew I wanted to write a song for him and his new bride. My intention was to give him something special and personal. As I started to write the song, it became more obvious to me that it would be a wonderful song to be played at the wedding that he and I could dance to.

The focus of this mother and son song was not so much about him as a boy growing up. It was about his special wedding day and the start of his new life with his new bride. I wanted to welcome his new bride into our family as my new daughter and wanted her to know that we could always share his love. I wanted to let him know that I would always be there for him. I wanted my son to see his new wife as his best friend and that it’s important to always be faithful to each other.

I wrote the lyrics for this mother and son wedding song and Jim McShane wrote the music. We recorded the song in a traditional version and played it at the wedding. It was beautiful to everyone, young and old, male and female. I was encouraged by so many people to publish the CD and make it available to others. So, with this encouragement, Jim and I also recorded a country version and released our single, recorded in both the traditional and country versions in May of 2007. The CD is available at www.shopmysongs.com where you can view the lyrics and listen to a short clip of both versions of the song.

My new father daughter wedding song titled I’ll Always Be Your Daughter was released in May 2008. I am recording a new bride and groom first dance song titled Two Little Words. It will be released in June 2009.

I am not only a proud mother of two boys and a daughter-in-law, I am now a proud grandmother of beautiful little girl.

Best wishes to all mothers & sons, fathers & daughters, and all parents on their special wedding day.

Lynn Leonti

While many of the other classic rock legends of the 1960s like The Who, The Rolling Stones, Cream, Led Zeppelin, & Jimi Hendrix are quite well known for their riff based rock songs, The Beatles are usually considered a guitar riff based band.

And there’s a strong reason| sound excuse| good reason} for that, The Beatles wrote all types of different songs with all kinds of different agreements. But they actually did sometimes write songs with some truly overwhelming guitar riffs too. And what follows are just some of the best of those songs.

‘Day Tripper’ – What a legendary guitar riff! It is one of those riffs where you right away know what it is as fast as you hear it.

‘Paperback Writer’ – here’s a tip : Listen closely to the harmony vocals. You could be shocked to realize what they are singing.

‘I Feel Fine’ – One of The Beatles best early singles. And that is’s saying a lot. The riff in this song is almost as immediately recognizable as the one in’Day Tripper.’

‘In My Life’ – This isn’t a’rock n roll’ song and not the kind of song people generally think of when they are talking about riffing on the guitar but I think the riff in this song is actually beautiful and completely timeless.

‘Birthday’ – This is a song that gets it’s share of’hate’ from some Beatles fans but it does have some pretty cool guitar riffs in it.

‘And Your Bird Can Sing’ – This song features some really cool guitar parts as well as some delicious words and great vocals. The Beatles were extremely good.
.

Fergie is an American singer and songwriter. Her real name is Stacy Ann Ferguson, but she is popularly known in the music world by her stage name Fergie. Glamorous is the third single from her debut solo album The Duchess. Fergie is also the vocalist of hip hop group The Black Eyed Peas; she is also a former member of the group Wild Child. Just as the title of the song suggests, the song and the album is all about the glamorous life that the singer leads. In the video of the song she tries to show how her life has changed after she became successful. The video goes on to show how she is has not changed despite all the success that she ahs seen and achieved. The song turned out to be a huge hit in many places. Born in Whittier California, to a catholic family, she had a very strict catholic upbringing during her formative years.

Glamorous by Fergie debuted at number 98 in the US Billboard Hot 100, in the middle of January 2007. The song attainted the initial peak position of number 9, in just five weeks after the song’s release. This position helps her in attaining the third top 10 solo hit over a period of six months. However the very next week the song Glamorous plummeted to the thirty third positions from the ninth, this is one of the biggest drops in an album in one week. On 19th February, the song entered the UK singles chart at number 56. The entry to the UK singles chart is credited largely to the huge number of downloads of the song. Next the song Glamorous climbed dup to number 10 from 10 after the song was released there.

Fergie has her own fan following which is huge in number. The video of Glamorous shows how she has changed after achieving success and at the same time also shows that she has not forgotten what she was earlier. In one section of the video she is shown flying in the first class section of an aircraft where she watches her won video. The video alternately shows how she was earlier and how she leads her life now after achieving success. She then rides on a waiting limo after landing and the vehicle drives in through a fast food restaurant. There is a transition in the video at this time and she is shown in her earlier days when she used to drive in there with her friends in a convertible Mustang.

The transformation shown in the video is done gradually so that anyone can identify with what she is trying to say through the song and the video. The lyrics of the song depict this perfectly. Fergie has won several awards; some of them are the Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. Fergie music has been downloaded many number of times and the best part about this is that on this strength only the song has topped several charts.
